Saint Patrick's Parish Archive

The Parish archive (which consists mostly of sacramental registers) contains documents which date back to 1798.  Given the large volume of information we hold on baptisms and marriages, we receive a huge number of requests to carry out research in our archive for the purposes of preparing a family tree.  Unfortunately, due to the very poor condition of our registers this cannot be facilitated by us.

When preparing a family tree, we recommend that you contact the Public Records Office of Northern Ireland who have facsimile copies of all our registers or alternatively the Ulster Historical Foundation who have computerised all our registers up to 1924.
